Cookie Policy
Authentication, session, and interface preferences only — no advertising or analytics cookies.
Last updated: August 24, 2026
This policy explains what cookies Illuminare sets and why. It is a companion to our Privacy Policy and is incorporated into our Terms of Service. Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser; everything we set is first-party — stored by Illuminare, readable by no one else.
What we do not use today — and what may be added
- No advertising or targeting cookies.
- No cross-site or social-media trackers.
- No third-party analytics cookies today. We may add product-analytics cookies (for example, PostHog or a similar tool) to understand how the application is used and improve it — they will load only if you chose “Accept all”, and the table above will be updated before they appear.
- We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is no cross-site tracking to opt out of.
Your cookie choice
When you first visit, Illuminare asks for your cookie preference: Accept all or Essential only. Your choice is stored in the cookie_consent cookie for 12 months; the prompt returns when that stored choice expires or is cleared.
The cookies above are strictly necessary or basic-functional — they exist only to deliver the service you asked for and operate under either choice; the service cannot work without the strictly necessary ones. Because we set nothing beyond them, both choices result in the same cookies today.
Your stored choice governs the future: any analytics, marketing, or other non-essential cookie we ever introduce will load only if you chose “Accept all,” and we will update this policy before it appears. Non-essential cookies will never appear silently.
You can change your choice at any time — this reopens the prompt:
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Because we do not sell or share personal information and do not track you across other sites, browser signals like Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control have nothing to opt out of here today. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where the law requires, and if we ever engage in activity those signals govern, we will treat them as a valid opt-out.
Changes and contact
We update this policy whenever the cookie table changes, and the date above always reflects the current version. Questions: hello@illuminare.app.
